Technical Manager | Fresh Produce | Dartford

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a leading global grower, importer and packer of Fresh Produce.

Our Client

Our client is a well established grower, importer, packer and distributor of fresh produce. They are a multi-national business with operations in the UK, Spain and South Africa. They offer a variety of produce, including soft fruit, citrus, salads and vegetables. They work hard to add value to their customers and the team is made up of passionate fresh produce specialists. The business has grown over the years to offer more services and variety of products.

The role

You will report to the Senior Technical Manager and you will lead the group requirements managing product safety, quality and legality. You will take full technical responsibility for defined customers and products. Manage compliant reporting for the category, collating data, and creating reports which meet the customer requirements. You will manage the Quality improvement plan for each product area that you are responsible and successfully identify technical projects to introduce new innovation to the business.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate would be someone who is in a similar position currently with experience of fresh produce and people management and liaising with different levels within a company. HACCP Level 3 minimum is required as well as Food Safety Level 3 minimum.
