In a scenic area of Wales, an opportunity to work for a very established, yet growing fresh produce business is here.
Experience in technical and fresh produce, but fed up of being stuck behind a desk?
You know what retailers need. It's part of your role and you thrive on getting it right.
How good does it feel going into a supermarket and knowing you played a part in getting the produce there? In this role, you get to do this with every major retailer in Wales.
A stone's throw away from Wales's incredible coastline and beaches, as well as being near a wonderful, welcoming town with amazing countryside and views; it'll be hard not to enjoy your time here.
What's in it for you?
Working as a Technical Manager here, you'd be part of a close-knit, cohesive team. There's a relaxed and friendly vibe, but they know how to knuckle down and exceed expectations when it comes to the quality of products and service. So, plenty of enjoyable moments to be had whilst still smashing your targets.
The potential to go permanent with this role is a strong possibility, but if you're looking for a short stint in a position such as this one, it will still be worth applying. What have you got to lose?
Leading the Technical Department in a company who have no threatening competitors, this exclusive business will give you the chance to be the face of the company when speaking to all the retailers you can think of. This is always an appealing thing to have on your CV.
One last thing, you're only required to be on site 4 out of the 5 days during the week. Who wouldn't enjoy that?
Who do you get to work for?:
Working closely with the Director, you'll get a chance to be heard, and help the business be even more successful than they already are.
You'll have 9 direct reports and be leading everything Technical. They mean autonomy when they say it.
If you want to go permanent, the opportunities for growth within your career will be there, as plans to grow the business size are well underway.
If you're right for this role, you'll already know what is needed from a Technical Manager, but here are some things that you may need to have to be suitable for this role:
- BRCGS - Experience monitoring QMS
- HACCP, TACCP, VACCP
- Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations
- GMP
- Agriculture/Fresh produce background
- Team management experience
This company also only deals with retailers located within Wales.
