About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of growing systems to the fresh produce and horticulture sectors. They have really innovative, growing systems that help their customers maximise yields and reduce the volume of water used to produce quality crops. They have sites across Europe where they can demonstrate the benefits of their technology and systems. They have real insight into the challenges faced by growers and their systems and tech have created first-class solutions. They are a relatively new business, but with a fantastic amount of knowledge and skills within the team.

About the Role
This role is all about working with growers to help them maximise their crops. You will utilise your sales ability and technical knowledge to consult growers and introduce them to the systems and technology that our client has available. You will help build relationships and partnerships to deliver commercial results. You can sell the systems and technology to growers or partner with them to show them the benefits and results they can obtain. You will utilise your knowledge of the salad and hot fruit growers to target key customers and forge those relationships. You be able to communicate with growers and understand the technical challenges that they face in order to sell solutions. Your sales skills and technical knowledge will see you grow the business and help clients maximise their business potential. You will be able to utilise your technical growing knowledge to help influence customers and guide them through the systems on offer.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a technical sales background supplying the glasshouse commercial growers. You will have a proven track record of delivering sales and new business with the salad and fruit growers across the UK and Europe. Ideally, you will speak multiple European languages. You will be working with a mix of commercial growers at the moment and will have forged close relationships with them - they will trust your advice and expertise. You will be driven to make a difference to a business and in doing so, make the world a greener, healthier place. You will be passionate about the sector and be able to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a proven track record in technical sales/sales of a technical product to the commercial horticulture sector. You will be able to build lasting relationships with customers based on a foundation of trust. Experience in the commercial horticulture sector is a must - ideally with a focus of salad and fruit crops grown under glass.

Salary
Competitive basic + package
