What's the job?

The role will involve learning how a nursery operates day-to-day. You will support in general plant care, learn about health and safety procedures, and always maintain cleanliness.

You will be involved in crop walking, where you will learn about pest and disease monitoring, irrigation and applying feeds across hundreds of different varieties.

As the role progresses you get to learn and work in more areas around the nursery.

What do I need?

This is a great role for someone looking to start a career in horticulture.

You will have a qualification of some form in horticulture or a related subject, with a passion to learn.

You must enjoy working outdoors, be willing to learn and work well as part of a team.

The business is committed to training passionate individuals, and there is also an opportunity to get your spray certificates too

Who are the business?

We're working with a successful, forward-thinking online garden retailer business who are looking for people with an interest in horticulture to join their team.

They grow plants across 16 acres with a packhouse on site too.

The role has come about due to continued expansion which is always a good sign!
