Are you passionate about science, agriculture, and working with purpose, both in the lab and out in the field? Our clients on the lookout for a dedicated Purification Specialist to support their cutting-edge wheat breeding programme.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of plant material for official trials
• Jointly complete field observations of purification material at NL-2, NL-1, and NL entries
• Shared responsibility for the harvest of single plant material
• Assist in preparation of purification material for drilling
• Assist in the running of the electrophoresis laboratory
• Execute sample preparation for various laboratory tests
• Assist with various other breeding tasks as required by the Head of Wheat Breeding

What You Bring:

• A-Level in Science (or equivalent)
• Experience in a similar field (seeds, trials, lab work etc)
• High attention to detail

• Experienced in agriculture, horticulture, or laboratory settings
• Detail-driven with strong organisational and computer skills
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a lab environment
• A good communicator and thrives in a collaborative team
• Able to remain calm and focused when working under pressure
• Safety-conscious and values-focused
• Interested in all details of the purification system
• Committed to performing to a high standard
