Find out what it is like to work at MorePeople
We think that working at MorePeople is the best! That’s why we are all here and why we love coming to work.
Having been in business since 2000, we feel that we know what we are doing. We know how to build teams and an environment that’s rewarding – not only financially but with other benefits, market leading training, amazing incentives and career progression.
We are committed to growth and we have a clear plan and strategy of how to deliver it. Will you be part of our 2020 Vision?
Great Earning Potential
There is massive potential to earn great money at MorePeople. If you are looking for a role where you can be rewarded directly for your efforts then this is the role for you. Depending on your target you could be looking at an OTE of £50,000 or more.
This job is rewarding
The team are regularly sent gifts and thank you cards. We do get a kick out of helping people and it’s lovely to be thanked.
‘Having dealt with numerous recruitment specialists with varying degrees of success I can honestly say the team at MorePeople and specifically Michael Kendall have been the most professional, understanding and compassionate. Understanding my needs, experience and qualifications to match me with an employment opportunity that is not simply a job but the start of a real career. From start to finish the process was thoroughly explained and Michael kept in constant contact to monitor my progress and even sent a congratulatory card once I had started my new employment.
In addition to the occasional cheeky drink when we do well at the end of a month – and the Lunch Club – we have a quarterly company incentive. We want everyone to be aware of what good looks like when it comes to company performance as well as caring about individual performance. From wine tasting, indoor skydiving, clay pigeon shooting to archery and gin making, there are lots of fun days out for us all.
To celebrate success and drive a high performance culture we have a lunch club incentive. Each month those who deliver their targets are taken for a lovely lunch and a few drinks from the best restaurants the area has to offer.
We take every opportunity to network with our clients and candidates. This means that you’ll often find the team at trade shows both in the UK and overseas. Awards dinners and trips to universities are also pretty common. This keeps our consultants connected to key industry issues and helps us to understand our candidate’s motivations and personalities really well; this means that we can be effective in placing the right candidate in the right company and give the best possible experience and service to everyone.
Periodically we get involved in charity events. Usually it’s for our nominated charity Macmillan Cancer Support. You’ll find us out running or (often more likely) organising a coffee and cake morning.
Birthdays and holiday
In addition to our generous holiday allowance there is also the added bonus of an extra day when your birthday falls on a work day. We still want to share your birthday cake though!
In addition to commissions, we have an end of year bonus which is based both on your personal performance and on the company performance.
Player of the week
Every week we have a peer-to-peer award to recongise great contributions from the previous week. Anyone can nominate anyone. One winner is selected per week and the winner gets to choose from a range of prizes: wine, a 10am start, a 4pm finish, a deli lunch and more.
End of year awards
At the end of the year we celebrate the best performances across the company. Yes, there are trophies and champagne on offer.
We are committed to training our team. Both on the job, with internal training sessions and also with external providers. This will help us build a better business, develop future leaders and help us remove the blockers we all face on our desk.
Technology is continuously developing and we are passionate about building a business which is at the forefront of these developments – we have a market leading CRM, we have plenty of recruitment tools at our disposal such as Cube19 and Broadbean. Our phone and IT infrastructure is state of the art and everyone has a company iPhone.
Quarterly reviews and 6 monthly appraisals
To ensure that everyone gets the development and training they need – as well as the clarity on what is expected of them – we operate quarerterly reviews and an appraisal process every 6 months.
We claim to be experts in our market when we talk to candidates and clients. So to be really Best for Business, we keep our industry knowledge sharp. Every week we run a quiz in the office. It’s great fun and a super way to kick start the week.
