This is a great opportunity to join a leading grower and packer of fresh produce into the retail sector, the business is very passionate about what they do and they are looking to strengthen the team with the appointment of an Assistant Technical Manager.

The Job:
You will work very closely with the Technical Manager to ensure technical and quality standards are maintained.
You will lead the Quality team of QC's.
You will provide cover for the Technical Manager when they are off-site.

The Candidate:
You will have food manufacturing experience and have worked within a technical/quality role, ideally within fresh produce but this isn't essential.
Have experience of BRC, HACCP, audits, retailer standards - TPPS
Good understanding of basic micro, swabbing and reporting results
Good IT skills
Experience of managing a team
Have a flexible approach to work
