About our Client

We are working with a long established and very forward-thinking Fresh Produce business who specialise in Organic crops. Due to expansion, they're looking for a Farm Technical Lead to join the business.

About the Job

This role will assist with agronomy and technical matters within the farm and report into the Farm General Manager. You will assist the Farms Manager with technical matters, from audits through to advising on crop husbandry and decision making on crops throughout the season. Also monitoring with pest/disease, irrigation management and checking crop growth.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would be someone who has hands on experience working on a farm but also either wants to go more into the technical side of management or someone who has been involved in field trials / research who wants to progress within their career but still wants to be hands on in a farming role.
