Group Health, Safety & Environment Manager | Fresh Produce | Herefordshrie
Salary: £competitive
Hours: Mon-Fri (40hrs per week)
Travel will be required as there are multiple sites across the UK.
Are you someone that wants to take th next step into a multi-site / group level role? Are you wanting something a bit different, or something that has a hige amount of variety when it comes to operational / day to day risk? If you are keen on both of these, then this is definitely the right sort of role for you....
You may not have ever heard of this business, because they are in a really niche market, however they are one of Europes largest and most well respected companies within this sector, with there site, really showing the scale and progress they have made throughout the years.
When it comes to the likely risks you have to manager, if you can think of it, there is probably an example of it . So if you like a challenge and want to add real value, this is definitely something you will enjoy. If you have experience, in waste management, water treatment, facilities, manufacturing processes, machinery and generally people (who doens't have this experience), you will be on the right course.
The company have a very hands on culture, so noone is too big for a job, not even the family members who own the business. Through the busy parts of the year, people are not shy of rolling sleeves up and getting stuck in, so likewise if you enjoy that, this is a team you want to be involved in.
What do you need?
- NEBOSH, IEMA, WAMITAB (all of these would be ideal, but if you have some and not all, don't let it put you off)
- Previous HSE Management experience within Food, Fresh Produce or FMCG environment.
- An apptitude to know how to get a cultural buy in and articulate the challenges and changes to a diverse workforce, as well as key stakeholders]
