Are you passionate about developing people and building high-performance teams? Do you love seeing others grow and thrive? We're looking for a Learning & Development Manager to take our training function to the next level as we continue to scale.

At MorePeople, we've built a strong reputation in recruitment across the food, agriculture, and horticulture sectors - and now we need a brilliant trainer to embed excellence across our growing team.

Why Join MorePeople?

  • Shape the Future: This is a brand-new role. You'll have the freedom to design, deliver, and evolve our L&D strategy from the ground up.
  • Make a Real Impact: From onboarding new grads to sharpening the skills of experienced consultants, your work will directly drive performance and business success.
  • Join a Growing Business: We're expanding fast - and that includes investing in our people. You'll be central to building the capability and confidence of our recruitment teams.
  • Positive Culture: We're serious about development, but we also know how to have fun. Expect energy, ambition, and a team-first ethos.

Your Role: Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a structured onboarding programme for recruitment consultants at different levels.
  • Create tailored development plans for individuals and teams, focusing on both technical recruitment skills and softer competencies.
  • Implement and track L&D KPIs to measure effectiveness and improve delivery.
  • Coach, mentor, and support consultants with 1:1 sessions and group workshops.
  • Collaborate with directors and team leaders to align training with business needs and commercial goals.
  • Lead on external training partnerships where relevant and bring fresh ideas into the business.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in training, coaching or L&D - ideally in a recruitment, sales, or fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to inspire and engage.
  • Experience designing and delivering both in-person and virtual learning experiences.
  • Comfortable using training tech/tools and measuring learning outcomes.
  • A proactive, people-first mindset with a passion for development and culture.
