Role Overview:

As NPD Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and development within their product range. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for designing and introducing new and improved products that align with market trends and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and upcoming trends, ensuring they stay ahead of competitors.
• Develop innovative product designs in line with customer briefs and operational constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Source high-quality and cost-effective ingredients, working closely with suppliers.
• Conduct kitchen and factory trials to assess product feasibility and resolve any issues pre-launch.
• Coordinate product transfer from NPD to production, ensuring seamless integration and quality standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Essential experience in NPD, preferably in ambient products.
• Strong time management and workload management skills.
• Ability to interpret customer briefs and translate them into innovative product designs.
• Experience in recipe development, costing, and supplier management.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation and industry guidelines.
