So, what will your day look like?
As this is a brand-new role, there is a lot of scope to bring your expertise and make it your own and no day will be the same. You'll be responsible for providing strategic financial support and analysis to the operations team as well as work closely with the leaders to drive financial performance, optimize processes and support key strategic initiatives.
The Business
Originating back to 1955, this is a well-established firm with global presence now employing around 450 staff across a 70-acre site. They were actually the first to use the Manchester shipping canal to transport their products. They were also the first UK company to bring their products into the UK in bulk flexi-containers, a method that is now industry standard.
Is this you?
As an FMCG business, you'll ideally already be working in the industry so will understand the fast-paced nature of the sector. You'll already be ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying towards. If you already know your way around SAP, that will help but if not, you'll be trained.
