The business I am recruiting for is seeking a hands-on, driven Packhouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a busy, fast-paced packhouse. Leading a team of around 20-25, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and the highest standards of food safety. They are currently producing products for some the most well-known retailers within the UK

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage the daily packing and processing of fresh food
• Motivate and mentor a close-knit team, driving productivity and performance
• Take ownership of audits, including BRC, Technical and HSE Compliance - don't worry you do have the support of a Technical Manager
• Collaborate with key departments to ensure smooth workflow and stock control
• Implement and improve operational processes with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Ensure all work adheres to food manufacturing standards, hygiene protocols, and safety regulation

• Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing or fresh produce packhouse management.
• Strong knowledge of BRC standards, technical audits, and compliance
