People Director (FTC - 12 months)
We are currently working with a forward-thinking organization operating in the food production sector and they are now searching for a dynamic and experienced People Director to join their organization.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in change management, process implementation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and successfully bringing diverse cultures together.
The perfect fit will have a combination of blue-chip corporate experience and recent involvement with start-ups or SMEs.
They are seeking an approachable and adaptable professional who can lead their HR function with a strategic mindset and drive cultural cohesion within our growing organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and drive change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective integration processes.
- Facilitate the merging of diverse company cultures, fostering collaboration and unity.
- Play a pivotal role in M&A activities, from due diligence to post-merger integration.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the goals of the organization and acquired entities.
- Evaluate, design, and implement HR processes and systems that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices while considering the unique needs of a dynamic organization.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive HR initiatives that support the long-term vision and growth of the organization.
- International travel will be a key part of the role
Required
- Proven experience as a People Director or in a similar senior People leadership role, with a focus on change management, M&A, and cultural integration.
- CIPD or other relevant HR certification
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practices.
- Background in both blue-chip corporate and start-up/SME environments.
- Background in the FMCG industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
