We are excited to be working with a well-established plant nursery and wholesaler who are looking for a Plant Supervisor to join their team.

About our Client

Our client has been established for over 40 years, supplying high-quality plants to trade customers including landscapers, garden designer and retailers. They grow stock on-site and buy from many leading growers across the UK and Europe. This is a key role within the business, and they and keen to find a passionate horticulturalist to join the team.

About the Role

This busy role will include supervising a small team in the businesses cash and carry. You will be responsible for ensuring the store is well presented with vibrant displays, maintaining plant health and delegating tasks, as necessary. This role is a customer-facing role, and you will be there to advise on plants, deal with quotes and provide excellent customer service. The role is very hands-on, and no two days are the same.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have worked in a commercial growing environment or plant area environment before. You will have a passion for horticulture and consistently strive to give the best advice and customer service possible. You will have managed a small team before and be confident to do so again. PA1, PA6 and a forklift licence would be ideal, although not essential. You will be excited to work in a busy business with the potential to grow within the business.
