About the Role:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the return on company-owned intellectual property. This exciting and varied position is based in Cambridge and involves some travel within the UK. You will engage in customer visits, presentations, and open day events to promote the business and product range. Additionally, your responsibilities will include placing and negotiating seed production contracts, market analysis, crop visits, production planning, and general commercial administration.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sales of all products to generate maximum return on company-owned IP.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and attend open days to promote the business and product portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the agricultural seed industry and wider industry networks, including processors and end-users.
  • Place and negotiate seed production contracts with new and existing growers.
  • Monitor sales positions and targets, conducting market analysis.
  • Conduct crop visits and inspections.
  • Contribute to production planning and allocation.
  • Perform general commercial administration tasks.
