Telesales Specialist | Food | Leicester | ~£30k - £35k+

About our Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of food products that supply customers across multiple channels (retail, foodservice, wholesale etc). They are a big, established business, but at heart, have a small family-owned feel and culture. They pride themselves on the quality of the products that they manufacture and the service that they offer their customers. About the Job:
This role is all about customer service and sales. You will use your experience in a similar telesales role to better serve our clients' customers. You will be comfortable taking a large volume of inbound calls to take orders and build rapport with customers, as well as being able to make proactive outbound calls to reach customers with the latest products and promotions. You will help the business create new processes and ways of working to deliver first-class customer service as well as deliver on the teams' targets. You will be able to prove your ability to lead and manage a team. You will be sales and target led, but not at the expense of customer service.
The Ideal Candidate:
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a solid background in a telesales environment and know what best practise looks like. You will be able to communicate effectively and be able to share your knowledge and experience with others openly. You will have a good understanding of relevant CRM software and phone systems, and although sales-focused will still have a keen eye for the admin and detail side of a role like this. You will be able to prove your ability to handle complaints and queries with an exceptional level of customer service. You will be proactive in your approach and look for opportunities to have touchpoints with customers to continue to build relationships.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a proven track record in telesales/customer service. You will also need to be able to demonstrate your ability to lead others and create an open culture within a team, where information is shared and the team delivers more than the sum of its parts. A great fit within the company culture and a customer-first outlook on sales is also a must.
