Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking to develop your craft? Can you take control of the finance side of a small independent farm? Are you able to work in a fast-paced environment and driven my deadline? If so, keep on reading!

This Independent family ran farm in the West Sussex area is hoping to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to join their small but impressive team. You will be responsible for the bookkeeping, VAT and payroll services as well as a range of other finance tasks. You may be asked to help on the annual budgets or maintain the purchase ledger, your day will be dictated by the ever changing, fast - paced nature of farming.

Some farming/agriculture experience is desired but not essential however someone with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail is a must. You will be in sole charge of the farm's finances and work alongside the rest of the office staff.

The perfect candidate for this role will have sound knowledge of accounting software, ideally Sage 50 and Kashflow payroll alongside good excel skills.
